Is it Spring Yet?

Oh my goodness! We got 4 inches of snow again in the wee hours of the morning! School was canceled which means a very busy day for me. Most of you are aware that I work for the North Kansas City School District here in Kansas City, Missouri. I do the" before and after childcare" at one of our elementary schools and I'm also a teacher clerk during the day at another of our elementary schools. When school is canceled, Adventure Club (that's what our childcare program is called) is opened ALL day----6:30 am to 6 pm. Snow Days are always interesting!!

I really enjoyed getting to go to Yantis, Texas with Jessica on January 19 and meeting a wonderful group of "scrappin' ladies". I got to put several faces with names and even met some totally new ladies as well. I really hope that at some point and time I'll be able to visit with all of them again.

The not so much fun part of that evening was on the way back to Jessica's home in Horatio, Arkansas. Somewhere in Arkansas we hit a huge coon. We didn't realize until after church on Sunday that below my front license plate the bumper was split in half---and something was hanging pretty low under the very front of the car. As bad as it was for my car---it was a whole lot worse for that poor coon.

Okay, now down to business. I am working on another page kit. Last night I paper pieced a Mickey Mouse. Now I need to work on the rest of the design and decide on a title.

I'm always looking for new page kit ideas, titles, themes, whatever. If you have any suggestions I would love for you to drop me an email. You may have just the right idea to give me the inspiration I'm needing for the next page kit.

I want to thank each of you that take the time to stop by and visit my blog. Without you there would be no reason for DK Designs. You guys are so very much appreciated!!!

May you feel the presence of God in a very special way TODAY!!!
Diane
