Happy Friday!
Woo-Hoo, it's Friday!!! I just can't believe how fast the weeks fly by. I love the weekends but they too seem to come and go in a flash. I wish I knew how to slow down the better parts of my weeks!
If anyone knows how to do that, please, share the information!
I had a great time in Hochatown, Oklahoma last weekend. I felt I got a good bit done. I just worked on paper piecing for future page kits. Let's see, I did some ghost with a pumpkin, a reindeer, a snowman, and a bunny. I did the "2 cute 2 spook" layout while I was there also. I worked on them all day Friday and then again on Saturday morning. I went to my niece's wedding on Saturday afternoon and never did really get back into the groove after that. (It was a very sweet wedding and I was very happy for Sarah and Ben.)
I'm hoping to "whip" out some page kits this weekend. =) I'm going to try and work that in Saturday after Stephen's flag football game and my hair appointment. Hopefully, I'll get even more scrapbooking done on Sunday after church. Isn't it crazy the way we have to make all the busy-ness of our lives fit into our schedule? I thought that came to a stop once you had your kids raised----that's a HA! HA! on me! =) Who in the world ever had time to come up with the word "bored"?
I hope each of you have a great weekend with family, friends, and other loved ones. May each of you also find some quiet time to spend with our amazing God just resting in His presence----wow! I know that's what I need!
Blessings to you,
Diane
