Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day. I did.
I LOVE spending time with my kids and grandkids. I love watching my grown kids when they're together. You know, I loved watching them together as little kids, too. I guess watching children is just one of the joys of being a mother------no matter what ages they may be. Then comes an increase of blessings when you become a grandmother-- and you get to watch grandchildren, also! God is just so good! I know I don't deserve all His goodness but I'm certainly thankful for it.
Now, to business! =) I've added some new kits to my blog below. Most of you will already be aware of this because you received an email with that info. If you don't receive my emails regarding new kits &/or "specail events" and would like to------drop me a line saying so. I'd love to add you to my list of contacts! =)
I'm really not working on anything new at the moment. I'm going to have to come up with some brilliant idea(s) in the next couple of days. I TRY to have a new kit or two to post at the beginning of each week. Sometimes that happens-----and then sometimes it doesn't.
I want to thank each of you for stopping by and visiting my blog today. I really do appreciate your taking the time to do that. I know that the majority of you are meeting yourselves coming and going ------and just the fact that you take a few minutes to "visit" here blesses me!
Please take a moment today and STOP long enough to give praise and honor to the Giver of Good Gifts. We miss so much because of our hurriedness. I know I have to be one of the worst at this------and as I get older and my body gets slower------I feel as if I have to hurry at everything I do! Crazy, crazy!!!
Anyway, may we all take the time to ask God to speak to us today------to help us see Him and to feel His presense as we go about our "to do list"! He longs to spend time with us---we just need to invite Him!
Well, it's time for me to head off to work (again). I think I'll listen to my own advice and ask God to ride along with me. I know I'll enjoy the company!

'79 for his daddy, Jonathan. I journaled the story of the suit and included a couple small photos of Jonathan wearing it. Oh, the memories----that's why we scrapbook!!! Please, think outside the box for this layout. I know most of you probably don't have an almost 30 yr. old Superman suit tucked away somewhere. I think a Superman t-shirt would work while maybe reading a Superman book or playing with a Superman toy. A Super dad wouldn't need a "costume" at all.

Title is printed on white cardstock. You just need to cut them out leaving a small white border and then adhere them to black cardstock and cut out again leaving a black border to give them the "shadowed" effect. The ghosts are created out of vellum to give them that "see through" look. =) You may notice that Jessica has a "Fright Night" kit using the same pattern paper-----well, I found a bag of the remains from those kits and designed another using the same product plus added a little extra. Because of the way this layout came about, I was only able to package 9 kits. So if you want one don't wait too long.

I love your blog! I am always excited when I see an email from you because I know you have added another kit and I can't wait to see it. Please always include the email address of the blog each time so I can just copy and paste and go right to it. I really enjoy the little updates on your family when you have time to do those. The music is nice but I can't listen to it if I am at work. If I am at home I can. I know I don't buy a lot but please include me on your list every time. I also want to come to some fire station crops too.

Karen E---I always intend to add the blog address to all emails that pertain to any kind of DK Designs update----but sometimes I just simply forget to. I find that I don't remember as well as I used to!=)
I've had several ladies email me asking how to leave a comment. You can just type in your comment and "send" it. It will show up as anonymous so it's helpful to add your name and city/state at the end of the comment-----that is if you don't mind everyone knowing who made the comment! =)
