Eight New Kits
Finally!!! I was wondering if I would ever get these new kits ready to post but here they are at last!!
I am finding myself extremely busy these days. I took another position at a different school and I am now meeting myself coming and going. I am now a Adventure Club Site-Manager at Linden West Elementary. I am excited about not having to work my mid-day shift (which was lunch and recess duty). I now only have 2 shifts per day instead of the 3. The biggest plus is that I should have more time to contribute to DK Designs once I get into the groove and have all my trainings under my belt. The "minus" part is that I am no longer at the same school as my grandson, Stephen. I am so thankful that I was able to be with him last year for his 1st year in public school. I know that God had His hand in that.
Jessica is back home in Arkansas. She also has a new position this fall. She is a D.I. (Direct Instuctor) at an elementary school in DeQueen, Arkansas. She was excited to get back home to her family and to her new job. She says she plans to come back to Kansas City to work again next summer.
I hope each of you had a memorable summer. I certainly did. I had such fun with ALL my kids/grandkids at Big Cedar Resort in Branson, Missouri over the 4th of July weekend. Last weekend Joe Nathan, Stephen, and I went to Hochatown, Oklahoma for my family's annual reunion. Stephen always looks forward to going to see his many "Oklahoma-Arkansas cousins". The weather was so nice and we had such a good time on the lake. I have a ton more pics to scrap-----just waiting to find the time!
I want to thank you for stopping by and visiting. Surely, I'll not be so long in getting updates posted now that I'm kinda back into the swing of things.
Let's remember how precious our lives are and not hurry through them too fast. I was thinking about that earlier this week with Stephen starting 1st grade. I know that if I'm not careful, I'll look at him and realize all of a sudden that he's growning up right before my very eyes---and I don't want that too happen.
Give away a ton of hugs and kind words today. There's a huge shortage of both these days!
God bless you and your loved ones for He is good!
Diane
