I'm So Blessed!

You know, as I scroll down and look at the photos that I actually have on layouts , I am touched to KNOW that I am blessed beyond measure. I am so touched by the photos of my children , my precious grandson, and wonderful friends. Looking at them just makes me feel so fuzzy inside! :)

I have 3 special scrapbooking friends in my circle who have had their share of sadness this week. One lost a mother, one a grandmother, and the third was told that her dad has a stage 4 cancerous brain tumor. All three of these friends have a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father which gives me such peace because I know that He will see them through the coming days.

I guess, I'm saying all of that to say this------really give some serious thought to the blessings in your life ---then photograph them, scrapbook them, and then please journal about them for your future generations.

There are things I so wish I had "recorded" on paper and in photos. I think the thing I most regret is not ever taking a picture of my dad reading his Bible. He read that Bible until the edges of the pages were actually worn off. So many hours and not one picture. After he passed away, I thought about that. So now I have taken pictures of just his Bible with some little post-it notes he had written and placed throughout his favorite scriptures. I haven't scrapbooked the photos yet but I think I'm getting ready to do so. I want my grandson, Stephen, to know what a legacy he has been given.
