My Wonderful Life

You know, I really am blessed with a wonderful life.

Most of this day, I have been entertained by my precious grandson, Stephen. His mom, Carrie, is out getting her hair cut and highlighted today. Got to get ready for Jessica's wedding day on Dec. 15!

Stephen and I have played "cars", colored a turkey for "mommy", watched The Backyardigins. They WERE new to me but after about 3 hours of the DVD, I feel quite knowledgeable on the subject!!

We had a wonderful lunch. PB&J (must be cut in "big triangles" at MeMa's house), cheetos, & blue Gatorade. Boy oh boy, doesn't that make your mouth water! Oh, and for "dessert" it was Skittles ( silly MeMa is out of M&Ms) in Uncle J's M&M truck that was a Christmas gift from Stephen himself.

I've talked to Jess 3 or 4 times today. She and Clint are busy, busy today. Getting wedding invitations, registering at J.C. Penney's and at Target. Also getting the girls dresses while at Penney's. I'm sad because I can't be there doing these things with her but, am so glad that Clint is doing all he can to make Jessica feel less sad because of my absence .

I will be out of town next weekend. Carrie-- my daughter-in-law, Stephen, Joe Nathan, Jeremiah, Rachel--Joe Nathan's girlfriend, and I will be going to Hochatown, Oklahoma to meet Clint and his children. I think we may be meeting some other members of his family. I think it's going to be a great "bonding" of families. I know Jessica is very happy and has been very warmly welcomed into their family.

I'm not sure how much scrapbooking I'll actually get done in the next month. I hope to get a little done here and there. It's going to be a busy but fun remainder of 2007. I'm excited because I'll have so many great things to photograph! My head is just spinning with layouts!
