Father's Day so Soon?

Gee, isn't it hard to believe that Father's Day is just around the corner? Well, it is and I'm so thrilled that I actually got this layout done BEFORE that special day.

When I bought the paper for the kit, I only bought enough for a total of ten. I wasn't for sure what I was going to do about a design but I liked the paper and knew I wanted to use it for a "guy layout". I'm really pleased with how it turned out------this is one of those that I don't think the scan does it justice. Now, I wish I had bought enough paper to do a few more.

I plan to take pictures of my son, Jonathan, and my grandson, Stephen, to use on this one. I also included 2 large tags because I want to write a note to each of them to tuck behind the photos. It's very important to me that in the years ahead, they both know how I am so very grateful that God loved me so much that He chose to bless me by sending both of them to be a very important part of my life. I want them to always remember that as much as I love them----He loves them so much more. He truly does give good gifts----just as the Bible says!!!

I guess the best way to sum it all up is with a quote that I got off of some web-site some time back and have keep here on my desk by my computer. It says:

THE LEGACY YOU LEAVE BEHIND IN A SCRAPBOOK IS LIKE LEAVING A STAIRWAY TO YOUR HEART.

Isn't it true that our pages are full of our "heart thoughts"?

Blessings,
Diane
